Mary Dumas

Wake and funeral services are scheduled for 8 p.m. today at Greater
Second Baptist Church, South Vacherie, for Mary Marie Favorite Dumas,
who died Sunday.

Dismissal services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at the church,
with interment in the church cemetery.

She was the mother of Elaine Steib.

She also is survived by 22 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Dumas; her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Azelia Favorite; one daughter, Lucille Harry; one son, Joshua
Dumas; 16 brothers, and one sister.Duplain W. Rhodes Funeral Home in New
Orleans is in charge of the arrangements.
