Eola Moore

Wake services are scheduled at 8 p.m. today at Mt. Gillion Baptist
Church in Baton Rouge for Eola Bowens Moore, 58, a native of Gibson and
resident of Baton Rouge, who died Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from St. James Baptist
Church in Gibson. Burial will be in the church cemeteryShe was the
mother of Wallace Bowens of Houma, Carolyn Davis, Cynthia Taylor,
Loretta Jordan, Leonise Celestine, Lionel, Lonnie, Larry, Ronnie and
Michael Moore, all of Baton Rouge; and sister of Elsie Diggs of Gibson
and Mary B. Johnson of Lake Charles. She is also survived by 20
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Daniel and Bertha Boyd Bowens;
brother Herbert Bowens; and sister, Ora Mae BowensArrangements are by
Desselle Funeral Home.
