John Plaisance Jr.

Funeral services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today at Holy Rosary Catholic
Church for John Baptist Plaisance Jr., 77, a native of Cut Off and
resident of Grand Isle, who died Thursday at 1:35 a.m.

Interment was to be in the church cemetery.

He was the father of Mrs. Clyde (Willaiva) Acosta, Jerry and Russell
Plaisance; and brother of Mrs. Felicia Lefort, Mrs. Alicia Schultz,
Hector, Julien, Edgar and Felecien Plaisance. He is also survived by 12
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ocena Melancon Plaisance; parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Jean Plaisance; brother, Ector Plaisance; and sister, Liza
Crosby.

Arrangements were by Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano.
