Necia Weimer

Funeral services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Genevieve
Catholic Church in Thibodaux for Necia LeBlanc Weimer, 89, a native of
Lockport and resident of Thibodaux, who died Tuesday at 8:30 p.m.

Visitation will be today 5:30-10 p.m. and from 8 a.m. until funeral time
Thursday at Landry's Funeral Home, Thibodaux. Interment is in St. Joseph
Cemetery, Thibodaux.

She was the mother of John Jr. and Daniel Weimer of Thibodaux, Jeff
Weimer of Lafayette, Ruth W. Edwards of Hammond and Mim W. Schmidt of
Paincourtville; and sister of Alice L. Diaz of Thibodaux. She is also
survived by 27 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Weimer Sr.; parents,
Joseph and Elizabeth Gaudet LeBlanc; son, Roy Weimer; sister, Effie
LeBlanc; and brothers, Sideny and Harris LeBlanc.
