The date of death has been used to order the file. ========================================================================== October 30, 1987 Angelette Cheramie Funeral services are scheduled al 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland for Angelette Nicholas Cheramie, 71, a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of Raceland, who died today at 2 a.m. Visitation is Sunday 6-9 p.m. and 8 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland. Interment is in the church cemetery. He was the husband of Doris Champagne Cheramie; father of Mrs. Glenn (Yvonne) Stokes of New Iberia, Larry Cheramie of Raceland and Jimmy Cheramie of Palatine, Ill.; and brother of Mrs. Alcee (Violet) LeBlanc of Lafayette, Herman Cheramie of Broussard and Randolph Cheramie of Elliot City, Md. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchildHe was preceded in death by his parents, Kilren and Angeline Cheramie; brothers, Norman, Pat and Kilren Cheramie Jr.; and sister, Mrs. Eugene (Ezola) Suire. He was a seafood broker for 50 years and past president of the Louisiana Shrimp Association. Donations to the American Cancer Society are preferred.
