Jessie Gabriel

Funeral services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday at Third Zion Baptist
Church in Maurepas for Jessie Mae Gabriel, 69, a native of DeRidder and
resident of Maurepas, who died Monday at 1 p.m.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday followed by wake services at the church.
Burial is in Whitehall Cemetery in Whitehall.

She was the wife of Luther Gabriel; mother of Linda Polar, Alvin,
George, Robert and Michael Gabriel; and sister of Viola House of
Labadieville and the Rev. Morris Landry of Avondale. She is also
survived by 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Annie Parker
Landry; and a daughter, Irma Lee Gabriel.
