Schley Lear

Funeral services have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart
Catholic Church, Grammercy, for Schley John Lear, 80, a native of
Vacherie and a resident of Grammercy, who died at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until funeral time
Friday at the church. Interment is in St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina.

He was the husband of Denise Kliebert Lear; father of Anna Belle
Faueheaux, Mary Alice Lambert and Richard Lear of Grammercy, Newlyn
Louque and Anthony Lear of Grand Point, Diane Copeland, Kathy Young and
Glenda Wilson of Dallas, Winona Braud, Norco, and Mazie Bloom,
Shreveport. He is also survived by 33 grandchildren and 34
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lear Sr. and Salina
Miller Lear; son, Harvey Lear; daughter, Brenda Lear; and brothers,
James Jr. and Linus Lear.
