Lillian Barrilleaux

Funeral services were scheduled for 11 a.m. today at St. Genevieve
Catholic Church for Lillian Leray Barrilleaux, 81, a native and resident
of Thibodaux who died Saturday at 9:06 p.m.

Interment was to be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She was the mother of Mrs. Joseph (Ethel) Himel, Goldie Legendre, Mrs.
Fernand (Marlene) Folse, Mrs. Barry (Mona) Williams, Huey, Carroll,
Gerald, John Patrick, Julian, Stephen and Vernon Barrilleaux; and sister
of Mabel Culotta.

She is also survived by 37 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Anthony Barrilleaux; her
parents, Julien Alexandre Leray and Philomene Guillot Leray; two
daughters, Joyce and Theresa Barrilleaux; and two brothers, Wilbert and
Robert Leray. Thibodaux-Landry Funeral Home was in charge of
arrangements
