leda Carmouche Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Kelone
Cemetery in Marksville for Oleda "Gro" "Joe" Carmouche, a native of Egg
Bend and resident of New Orleans, who died Thursday at 3:30 a.m.

He was the husband of Clemence Boudreaux; father of Ashton Carmouche,
Edmae Arceneaux and Carrie Lee Seelson; and brother of Moore Carmouche
and Lena Lemoine. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Urbin and Ella Brown Carmouche;
brothers, Walter John Adelas, Kirby and Sidney Carmouche; and sisters,
Clonise Bonnette, Darlice Juneau, Armande Toups, Effie Dauzat and Vergie
Carmouche.

Arrangements were by Jacob Schoon and Son Funeral Home, New Orleans.
