Agnes Rogers

Funeral services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Thursday at Holy Rosary
Catholic Church in Larose for Agnes Matherne Rogers, 75, a native of Cut
Off and resident of Larose, who died at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. today until funeral time Thursday at
Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano Interment will be in the church cemetery.

She was the mother of Agnes Adams, Irene Dantin, Jane Billiot, Patsy
Plaisance, Nancy Danos, Mary Lou Stanislaus and Roy Rogers; and sister
of Emelda Ledet, Inez Chouest, Louis, Irvy and Anthony Matherne. She is
also survived by 40 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and one
great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donisa Rogers; parents, Valrie
and Daisy Rogers Matherne; daughter, Winnferd Rogers; and brothers,
Irvin, Early, Forrest and Joe Matherne.
