Jean Aucoin
Funeral at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Jules Catholic Church in Belle Rose for
Jean
L. Aucoin, 78, a native of Grand Bayou and a resident of Belle Rose, who
died Friday, Aug. 31, 1990, at 1:30 p.m. Burial was in St. Elizabeth
Cemetery,
Paincourtville.
Aucoin was the husband of Denise Blanchard Crochet Aucoin; father of Donald
Aucoin, Houston, Texas; step-father of Paulette Dugas, Baton Rouge, and
Wayne
Crochet. He was the brother of Stella Coupel, Pierre Part, Inez Trosclair,
Napoleonville, Bernadette Hidalgo, Belle Rose, Jeanne Gros, Labadieville,
Bernard Aucoin, Bridge City, and Claiborne Aucoin, Napoleonville. He is also
survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Ida Alleman Aucoin; first
wife, Verna Templet Aucoin; and two brothers Clebert and Ulysse Aucoin.
