Ophelia Chouest
Funeral was at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano for
Ophelia Lafont Chouest, 64, a native and resident of Galliano who died Aug.
26, 1990 at 7 a.m.
Visitation was from 2-11 p.m. Monday and from 7 a.m. until funeral time
today.
She was the wife of Joseph O. Chouest; mother of Noles J. Chouest, Ophelia
Bourg and Susan Chouest and sister of Constant and Irvin Lafont. She is also
survived by six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loveless and Marie Cheramie
Lafont;
brothers, Jackin, Wedless, and Edless Lafont and sister, Devane Lafont.
Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
