Walter Douglas
Wake and funeral services will be at 6 p.m. today at Moses Baptist Church in
Thibodaux for Walter "Pourri" Douglas, 50, who died Thursday.
Dismissal services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday with interment in the church
cemetery.
He was the husband of Geraldine Douglas; father of Lyndell Williams; step-
father of Patricia Pike, Tyrone and Wardell Heard; son of James P. Douglas
all of Thibodaux and brother of Larnese Carter of Thibodaux, Jamesetta
Harding,
Diane Swan and Robert Douglas. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elnora Young and step-son, Joseph
Heard III.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home, Thibodaux, is in charge of arrangements.
