John Haydel
Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. today at St. Philip Catholic Church in
Vacherie for John Richard Haydel, 74, a native and resident of Vacherie, who
died at 7:40 p.m. Friday.
Entombment is in St. Philip Mausoleum.
He was the husband of Marie Therese Waguespack Haydel; father of Glenda
Folse and John Richard Haydel Jr.; brother of Marvel Haydel, June Daboub,
Marilyn
Brou and Mae Hornot and grandfather of Richard Fernand Folse and Aimee
Elizabeth Folse.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Edith C. Haydel.
He was a retired postmaster.
Alexander Funeral Home, Lutcher, is in charge of arrangements.
