Helen Jones
Wake and funeral services were Tuesday at St. Luke Baptist Church in St.
James
for Helen Jones, a native and resident of St. James who died Aug. 18, 1990
at 1:20 a.m.
Dismissal service was today at noon. Internment is in the church cemetery.
She was the wife of George Jones mother of Evenia and Vivian Martin of New
Orleans, Edward Smith and George Jones Jr. of St. James; sister of Emelda
Bain and Joseph Smith. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and five
great-
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Smith; sister,
Enola Lewis and brother, Alfred Smith Jr.
Earl Beloney and Sons Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements.
