Lee Mitchell
Funeral services were held Sunday at 8 p.m. at Greater Macedonia Baptist
Church
for Lee Mitchell of St. James who died Monday, Aug. 13, 1990.
Dismissal was today at 11 a.m. Interment is in Resthaven Cemetery.
She was the wife of Clarence Matthews; mother of Audrey Raymond, Barbara
Ferrande, Valerie Davis, Lee Ester Stewart, Clarence Matthews and Arthur
Stewart and sister of Lavinia Rambert and Yvonne Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Joseph and Susie Mitchell; a
daughter, Yvonne Tate and brother, Melvin Mitchell.
She was survived by 26 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Dennis Mortuary, New Orleans, is in charge of arrangements.
