Eddie Vicknair
Religious services were held at noon today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church
in
Gramercy for Eddie J. Vicknair Sr., 83, a native of Mt. Airy and resident of
Gramercy, who died Monday at 9 p.m.
Entombment is in St. Joseph Mausoleum in Paulina.
He was the husband of Ida Schexnayder Vicknair; father of Marie Folse of
Thibodaux, Eloise Hidalgo and Eddie J. Vicknair Jr. and brother of Estelle
Geier, Noemie Landry and Lester Vicknair. He is also survived by 18
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fernand and Nemea Vicknair; sister,
Elmire Loup and brothers, Nolan and Freddie Vicknair.
Alexander Funeral Home, Lutcher, is in charge of arrangements.
