Paul Washington
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Phillip Baptist
Church
in Labadieville for Paul Washington, 70, a native and resident of
Labadieville who died Friday at 1 a.m.
Visitation will be at Williams and Southall Funeral Home in Napoleonville
from
2-4:30 p.m. today and then at the church from 5 p.m. until wake services at
8 p.m. tonight.
Interment is in the church cemetery.
He was the father of Paul Jr., Wallace, Wilbert, Warren, Ronald, Alex,
Harold,
Mark and Yvonne Washington and Laura Mae Majors and brother of Alex Hebert,
Ernest Williams, Wilma Bolden,- Hazel Dunn, Olivia Burell, Georgiana Holmes
and
Pearl Thomas.
He is also survived by four foster children and 39 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Washington; parents, Walter
Hebert and Rose Fisher; foster parents, Jack and Ella Washington and a
sister, Mary
Cheatham.
