Laura Thomas
Religious services were at 11 a.m. today at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Gray
for Laura Paul Thomas, 88, a native and resident of Gray who died Saturday,
Dec. 8, 1990
, at 12:25 a.m.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
She was the mother of Warren Thomas Sr., the Rev. Ulysses Thomas Sr., Rev.
Jules Thomas, Earl Thomas, Naomi Jack, Ruth Franklin, Otis Thomas, Audrey
Mart and Laura Lee. She is also survived by 46 grandchildren, 52
great-grandchildren
and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Thomas; a son, Wilbert
Thomas Sr.; parents, Hannah and Amos Paul; grandchildren, Vernon Jack and
Angel Mart.
