Louis Arcement
Funeral services were held today at St. Bernard Funeral Home in Chalmette
for Louis M. Arcement, 82, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Chalmette,
who died Sunday at 2:30 p.m.Interment is in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.He
was the father of Shirley Navilhon, Colleen Martinez, Marion Nelson, Jean
Stambaugh and Louis C. Arcement; stepfather of William Wadleigh; and brother
of Remy Arcement. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 26
great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.He was preceded in
death by his wife, Kati Virgadamo Arcement; parents, Inez Power and Dalfrese
Arcement; and sisters, Helen Bartholomew and Mildred Stein.
