Leoncia Blanchard
Funeral services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Landry's Funeral Home
in Labadieville for Leonica H. Blanchard, 88, a native of Labadieville and
resident of Metairie, who died Sunday at 7:31 a.m.Visitation is from 8 a.m.
Tuesday until funeral time at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial
is scheduled at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville, following
services at the funeral home. Interment is in the church cemetery.She was
the mother of Noland A Blanchard of Labadieville, Ethel Kertz of Metairie
and Esther Mae Gros of New Orleans. She is also survived by seven
grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her
first husband, Dennis Boudreaux; second husband, Andrew Blanchard; sons,
Earl J. and Lloyd Blanchard; daughter, Denise Boudreaux; and parents, Tommy
and Alcida Blanchard Hebert.
