Jessie Plaisance
Funeral services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Hilary Catholic
Church in Mathews for Jessie ÒJackÓ Plaisance, 74, a native and resident of
Raceland, who died Sunday at 3:50 a.m.Visitation is from 6 p.m. until 11
p.m. today and from 7 a.m. Tuesday until funeral time Tuesday at Falgout
Funeral Home in Raceland. Interment is in the church cemetery.He was the
husband of Isabel Guidry Plaisance; father of Wade F. and James G.
Plaisance, Judy Plaisance Baye and Donna P. Eymard; and brother of Gaton O.,
Wallace and Benson Plaisance and Melanie Rodrigue. He is also survived by
nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by
his son, Mark A. Plaisance; parents, Bertha T. and Raymond Plaisance;
brothers, Lawless and Joseph Plaisance; and sister, Aline Plaisance.
