Corrine Washington
Wake services are scheduled at 8 p.m. today at Second Mt. Everest Baptist
Church in New Orleans for Corrine Washington, who died Wednesday at 7:45
a.m.Visitation begins at 5 p.m. today at the church. Dismissal is scheduled
at 11 a.m. Tuesday with interment in Providence Memorial Park in New
Orleans.She was the wife of Louis Washington; mother of Patricia Jones,
Dorothy Grace and Cheryl Washington of New Orleans, Gerald Washington of
Thibodaux, James Washington of Alexandria; Linda Ellis and Geraldine
Washington, both of Oakland, Calif.; and sister of Rayford Grace of New
York, Elmore Grace of Monroe and Geraldine Grace of Detroit, Mich. She is
also survived by 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.She was preceded
in death by her parents, Clarence and Lona Grace.Dorothy Lawless Mortuary,
New Orleans, is in charge of arrangements.
