Marie LeBlanc
Funeral services are scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Lawrence Catholic
Church in Chacahoula for Marie Olivia LeBlanc, 77, a native of Labadieville
and resident of Chacahoula, who died Thursday at 1:30 p.m.Visitation is
5-9:30 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at the church.
Interment is in the church cemetery.She was the mother of Larry L. and
Harold P. LeBlanc of Houma and Mrs. Ronald (Edith) Forrester of Waggaman;
and sister of Mrs. Leonard (Esther) Naquin of Schriever, Mrs. Roy (Bell)
Giroir of New Orleans, Mrs. Harold (Elaine) Sevin of Reston, Va., and Mrs.
William (Jenny) McMenemon of Thibodaux. She is also survived by 13
grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her
son, Ronald "Buck" LeBlanc; husband, Harold A. "Bay" LeBlanc; parents, Oscar
and Celina Mire Olivier; brothers, Numa and Sylvere Olivier; and sisters,
Angelle Blanchard, Effie Boudreaux and Amelia Greer.
