Bertha Daigle
Religious services were held at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Alphonsus Catholic
Church for Bertha Bourgeois Daigle, 83, a native of Thibodaux and resident
of
Greenwell Springs, who died at 12:30 p.m. Friday.
Interment is in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
She was the mother of Beverly Turner and JoAnn Miller and sister of Inez
Burns, Lena Marroy, Barbara Ackerman, Velma Samson, Murphy and Clarence
Bourgeois. She
is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Daigle; parents, Arthur
and Louise Bourgeois; brothers, Clifford, Arthur and Carl Bourgeois and
sister,
Rosemary Bourgeois.
Welsh Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
