Richard Fisher
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at South Lafourche Baptist
Church
in Galliano for Richard A. Fisher Jr., 66, a native of Evangeline and
resident of Galliano, who died at 1:15 a.m. Saturday.
Interment is in First Baptist Cemetery in Larose.
He was the husband of Hazel Danos Fisher; father of Richard A. Fisher III,
Ricky and Tommy Lefort, Dannie Fisher Boudreaux and Mary Plaisance and
brother of Frank C. Fisher and Rosemary Humphrey. He is also survived by 11
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bittie Davis Fisher and parents,
Richard Sr. and Doris Girrould Fisher.
