Clarence Waguespack
Funeral services are scheduled for noon Tuesday at St. Philip Catholic
Church
in Vacherie for Clarence Joseph Waguespack Sr., a native and resident of
Vacherie, who died at 2 p.m. Sunday. He was 82.
Visitation is at St. Philip Catholic Church from 6-10 p.m. today, and from
7:30
a.m. until funeral time Tuesday. Entombment is in the church mausoleum.
He was the father of Janet Zeringue, Claire Amedee, Myrna Falgoust, Annette
Folse, the Rev. Clarence Waguespack Jr. and Raymond G. Waguespack and
brother
of Lillian Gaudet and Ethel Simon. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren
and six great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Lucy Simon Waguespack;
parents,
Raymond J. and Delphine Waguespack; sisters, Aline Hubbell, Helena Simon,
Lea Waguespack, Virginia Hubbell, Cecil Gaudet, Odile Rome and brothers,
Raymond J.
Jr., Renee J. and Laurent Waguespack.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. John the Baptist Council of
Vacherie, a former member of the St. James Sugar Corp and a Eucharistic
Minister.
Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, is in charge of arrangements.
