Tom Carter
Funeral services are scheduled at 8 p.m. today at Morning Star Baptist
Church in Labadieville for Tom Carter, 91, a native and resident of
Labadieville, who died Sunday at 2:45 p.m.Visitation is from 5 p.m. until
funeral time today at the church. Dismissal is scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday
at the church. Interment is in the church cemetery.He was the husband of
Enola Brown Carter; father of Virginia, Rosetta, Marion, Vernama, Angel and
Catherine, Gerald, Thomas, Willis and Herman. He is also survived by 61
grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his
son, Leonard Carter; parents, Ollie and Louise Carter; brothers, Matthew and
Clarence Carter; and sisters, Julia and Rachel Carter.Williams & Southall
Funeral Home, Napoleonville, is in charge of arrangements.
