Didia Guidry
Funeral services were held today at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose
for Didia P. Guidry, 77, a native and resident of Larose, who died Saturday
at 4:40 p.m.Interment is in the church cemetery.He was the husband of Violet
Theresa Trahan Guidry; father of Didia Jr., Irving, Eddie and Louis Guidry
and Elliot Lee, Mrs. Percy Guidry, Mrs. John Huff, Mrs. Nolty Lee, Mrs.
Earline Guidry, Mrs. Leonard Heron, Ida Guidry and Mrs. Mandy Trahan; and
sister of Beatrice Plaisance. He is also survived by 60 grandchildren, 82
great-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by
his first wife, Louise Eve Trahan; daughter, Pauline Santma; parents, Sidney
and Ida Estay Guidry; brother, Warren Guidry and sister, Beulah G.
Plaisance.Falgout Funeral Home, Galliano, was in charge of arrangements.
