James Fondren
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church in
Thibodaux for James Lamar Fondren, 59, a native of Ackerman, Miss. and
resident of Thibodaux, who died Wednesday.Visitation will be at Landry's
Funeral Home in Thibodaux from 6-9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until funeral
time Friday. Interment is in Lakelawn Cemetery in New Orleans.He was the
husband of Margaret Alexander Fondren; father of Melinda Kirsch and brother
of Annie Sue McAdams, Betty Lou Martin and Charles Morris Fondren. He is
also survived by one grandchild.He was preceded in death by his parents,
Tilton L. and Eva Mae Stacy Fondren.Landry's Funeral Home, Thibodaux, is in
charge of arrangements.
