Joseph Nicholas
Funeral services were held today at 10 a.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral
Home in Ponchatoula for Joseph Mercy Nicholas, 53, a native of Chackbay and
a resident of Ponchatoula, who died Monday.Interment was in the Ponchatoula
Cemetery.He was the wife of Daisy Givens Nicholas; father of Debbie
Troxclair and Terrie Luneau; and brother of Joyce Folse, Lois Sykes, Shirley
Booty, Audrey Nicholas, Skurley Nicholas and Steven Nicholas. He is also
survived by two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents,
Whitney and Laura Nichols; his son, Joseph M. Nicholas Jr.; and his brother,
Rodney Nicholas.
