Sylvest Cheramie
Funeral was today at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church
in Golden Meadow for Sylvest Joseph Cheramie, 76, a native and resident of
Golden Meadow who died Saturday, Nov. 3, 1990, at 7:20 a.m.
He was the husband of Leonise Josephine Cheramie; father of Abby, Murphy "Fry",
Richard "Dickie" and Raymond Cheramie; foster father of Genevive Boudreaux;
brother of Linzie and Nolis Cheramie, Selvida Plaisance and Elvida Duet. He
is
also survived by 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by siblings Orleans and Bienvenue Cheramie.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
