Martha Dabney
A funeral will be held at 8 p.m. today at Woodlawn United Methodist Church
in
Napoleonville for Martha G. Dabney, 102, a native and resident of Assumption
Parish who died Monday at 4:50 p.m.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the church.
Dismissal will be at 12 noon Saturday followed by interment in the church
cemetery.
She was the mother of Wilson, Whitney, Albert and Rev. Albert Dabney, Emma
Jefferson, Ethel Lang, Mabel Thomas, Helen Gorden and Irma Alexander. She is
also survived by 60 grandchildren and 360 great and
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Dabney; her parents; and
brothers, Richard, Charlie, Walter and Frank Dabney.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
