Burial was in Abshire Cemetery in Kaplan.
He was the husband of Laura Trahan Duet; father of Shirley Gaspard, Cornelia
Dye and Lois Proff; brother of Harrison Duet, Eula Gisclair and Dorothy
Cheramie; half-brother of Barbara Comeaux and Linda Garrett. He is also
survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alcide Duet; mother, Camilla Faret;
step-mother, Agatha Bourg Duet.
Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan is in charge of arrangements.
