Antoine Simon
A funeral was held at 10 a.m. today at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in Reserve
for Antoine "Buck" Simon, 63, a native of Vacherie and resident of Reserve
who
died Saturday, Nov 24, at 4:15 a.m.
Interment was in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
He was the husband of Leona Delaneuville; father of Sheryl Holmes and Ernie,
Antoine Jr. and Candy Simon; son of Lena Simon; brother of Rene, Henry,
Andrew,
Willie, Lois, Marie, Velma and Terese Simon. He is also survived by six
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Simon; and siblings, Ellis
and
Elise Simon.
Vergie Simoneaux
Mass of Christian Burial was at 11 a.m. today at Assumption Catholic Church
in
Plattenville for Vergie Breaux Simoneaux, 63, a native of Pierre Part and
resident of Plattenville who died Saturday,
Nov. 21, 1990
at 10:30 a.m.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
She was the wife of Rudolph "Ham" Simoneaux; mother of Connie Bellina and
Rudolph "Rudy" Simoneaux Jr.; sister of Aurline Gaudet, Thelma Berthelot,
Ann
Landry, Irene Frioux and Eves Breaux. She is also survived by five
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Honore and Ursula Daigle Breaux;
sisters, Desire Breaux and Alice Gaspard.
