Edward Shortridge
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Philomena
Catholic Church in Labadieville for Edward A. Shortridge Sr., 66, a native
and resident of Labadieville who died
Oct. 13, 1990
at 1:45 a.m.
Visitation will be from 5-10 p.m. Wednesday and from 8-9:45 a.m.
Thursday at Landry's Funeral Home in Labadieville. Burial will be in the
church cemetery.
He was the husband of Bernice Frazier Shortridge; father of Edward A.
Shortridge Jr. and Gayle Tapscott; brother of Humphrey Shortridge. He is
also survived by seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Odile Boudreaux
Shortridge and a granddaughter, Shannon Shortridge.
