Edward Young
Funeral will be at 8 p.m. Friday at Moses Baptist Church for Edward C.
Young, 68, a native and resident of Thibodaux who died
Oct. 3, 1990
at 5 a.m.
Visitation will be at the church Friday from 6-8 p.m. Dismissal will be at
11 a.m. Saturday with interment in the church cemetery.
He was the husband of Jessie Harrison Young; father of Chris, Bruce,
Nathaniel and Edward C. Young Jr., Rose Brown, Dianne Manuel and Sylvia
Rogers and brother of Eugene Young and Marcella Page. He is also survived by
17 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Isabelle Johnson Young;
son Larry Young and brothers, Jake, Manuel and Griffin Young.
Landry ’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
