Gladys Breaux
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Maria Immaculata Church in
Houma for Gladys Trahan Breaux, 89, a native and resident of Houma who
died 12:30 p.m.
Visitation will be 5-11 p.m. on Tuesday and 8 a.m. until funeral time on
Wednesday at the Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma.
Interment will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery in Houma.
Breaux was the mother of Harvey Breaux, Pasadena, Texas; Elvador Blanchard
and Romana Mire of Houma.
She is survived by sisters, Adine Champagne, Hazel Crochet and Suzell
Guidry of Houma; three brothers, Marshall and Guideon Trahan of Houma
and Russell Trahan, Marrero.
Breaux is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and
one great great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband Alfred Breaux; parents, Marshall
and Adelaide Bergeron Trahan; son Norman Breaux; sisters, Adelaide
Champagne, Beatrice Olivier and brothers, Curtis and Fulton Trahan.
Chauvin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
