Leotha Hampton
Funeral will be at 8 p.m. today at St. Paul Baptist Church at Lafourche
Crossing for Leotha E. Hampton a native of Lafourche Parish and resident of
Thibodaux who died Sept. 8, 1990 at 1:20 p.m.
Visitation will be today from 1-3 p.m. at the Community Funeral Home from
4-8
p.m. at St. Paul Baptist Church.
Dismissal will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday with burial in Young Men Cemetery.
She was the mother of Thelma Leonard, Audrey Johnson, Essie Williams, Leola
Campbell, Vera Washington, and Wilbert, Thomas and Cora Lee Hampton and
sister
of Victoria Henderson, Myrtle Every, Roberta Howard, and Ellis, Louis,
Horace,
and Leroy Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell Hampton; parents, Louis
Thomas and Julia Butler Thomas; sons, Mitchell and Norman Hampton and
sister,
Mable Williams.
