Colbert Matherne
Funeral was at 11 a.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for
Colbert B. Matherne, 73, a native of Gheens and resident of Cut Off who died
Sept. 10, 1990 at 3 a.m.
Interment was in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Larose.
He was the husband of Minola Gautreaux Matherne; father of Alvin, Norris,
and Gilbert Matherne, Deborah Griffin, and Shirley Burns and brother of
Morris, Harris, Early, Roland and Roy Matherne, Winnie Toups, Ella Mae
Bouquet and Thelma Guidry, He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and
four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Orelia Dufrene Matherne
and son, Horace Matherne.
Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano is in charge of arrangements.
