Anthony Chaisson

A Mass of Christian Burial took place this morning at St. Joseph
Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux for Anthony Joseph "Coon" Chaisson, 75, a
native and resident of Thibodaux who died Friday at 8:54 p.m.

Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.

He was the husband of Norelie Landry Chaisson; brother of Norman "Jack"
Chaisson, Marie Duet, Vernice Landry and Adeline Chaisson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonce and Clemence Thibodaux
Chaisson; and a sister, Versie Chaisson.

Thibodaux Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Daily Comet

Cheramie A Mass of Christian Burial took place this morning at Holy
Rosary Catholic Church in Larose for Claudine F. Cheramie, 76, a native
of Cut Off and resident of Larose who died Friday at 9:05 p.m.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

She was the wife of Lousie Cheramie; mother of Earl, Jules, Armojen,
Anthony and Michael Cantrelle, Marie Allemand, Agnes Plaisance, Loretta
Foret and Lorenza Bonvillian; sister of Enola Cantrelle.

She is also survived by 51 granchildren and 52 great-grandchildren.

She was perceded in death by her first husband, Jules Cantrelle; sons,
Maurice, Brenton and Benton Cantrelle; daughters, Claudine and Brenda
Cantrelle; parents, Albert Fonseca and Marie Pere Fonseca; a brother,
Norman Fonseca: and a grandson.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland was in charge of arrangements.
