Ozea Sonier

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Bridget
Catholic Church in Schriever for Ozea Daigle Sonier, 100, a native and
resident of Gray, who died Tuesday at 6:15 a.m.

Visitation will be from 5-10 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. until
funeral time Thursday at Thibodaux Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She was the mother of Nelson and Mitchell Sonier, Mattie Babin, Jennie
Stevens, Viley "T.V." Gagneaux, Laura Thibodeaux and June Oncale;
step-sister of Nelson, Edley and Wilbert Daigle and Nellie Caro.

She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and 13
great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clay N. Sonier; a son, Chester
Sonier; parents; Elphage and Molly Pitre Daigle: and four grandchildren.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
