AUGUSTINE BURD

Religious services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis De
Sales Catholic Church in New Orleans for Augustine Selma Burd, 68, a
native of Napoleonville and resident of New Orleans who died Monday at
8:43 a.m.

Visitation will be from 8-9:15 a.m. Saturday at the church in New
Orleans and from noon until 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Benedict the Moore
Catholic Church in Napoleonville.

Burial will be in St. Benedict Catholic Cemetery.

She was the mother of Joyce, Donna, Carmelia, Eric, Gregory and
Marcellinus Burd, Clara Jean Wallace and Sylvia Carter; sister of
Marguerite Southall.

She is also survived by two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Burd: parents, Owen and
Augustine James: and a grandson.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of
arrangements
