MADELINE DUET

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic
Church in Cut Off for Cut Off native and resident Madeline V. Duet, 68,
who died at 10:15 a.m. Sunday. [Jan 20, 1991] Visitation was planned for
2 p.m. today until funeral time.

Interment will follow at the church Mausoleum. Duet was the wife of
Jessie J. Duet, mother of sons, Tony and Jessie "Jay" Duet Jr.;
daughters, Juliet Constantin, Geraldine Doucet and Doris Plaisance; and
sister of Dorida Pitre, Edwina Ginter, Ruby Adams, Marian and Beatrice
Charpentier; brothers, Wilfred "Coco," Edway and Earl Vegas. Duet was
the grandmother of 16 and great grandmother of 7.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Antoine Vegas, Aledia Guidry
Vegas; and brothers, Joseph, Alfred and Raphael Vegas.

Falgout Funeral Homes Inc. of Raceland was in charge of arrangements.
