Mildred Hudson

Funeral servic es took place Sunday at First Emanuel Baptist Church in
New Orleans for Mildred "Mommie" Jones Hudson, 71, a native of Vacherie
and resident of New Orleans who died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Interment was in Mt. Olivet Mausoleum.

She was the former wife of Freddie London; mother of Joycelyn Burnett,
Delia St. Charles and Ted Jones; sister of Beulah St. Junior, Irma
Dennis and Marion Oubre.

She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her second husband, Alvin Hudson; parents,
Octave and Madeline James Jones; brothers, Joseph, Herman, Octave and
Alfred Jones; sisters, Hilda Steib and Mary Hudson. Dorothy Lawless
Mortuary in New Orleans was in charge of arrangements.
