STEPHEN CAMPBELL

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St.
James Catholic Church in St. James for Dr. Stephen Roy Campbell, M.D.,
87, a native of New Orleans, former resident of Vacherie and resident of
Baton Rouge who died Tuesday at 8:20 a.m.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Ourso Funeral Home in Houma
and from 9:30 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at the church.

Burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans.

He was the husband of Marie McDowell Pilkington Campbell of Baton Rouge;
father of Judith Cranor of Baton Rouge, Stephanie Jeansonne of Mobile,
Ala., and Claire Gendron of Baton Rouge; brother of Albertha David,
Franz Labranche, Alyce Parker, Iona Menery and Dr. Nicholas Campbell,
M.D.

He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by daughters, Kathleen Campbell and Marie
Legendre; parents, Stephen Frank Campbell and Alice Healy Campbell.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mobile
patriots Wheelchair Basketball Team, c/o Stephanie Jeansome, 3712
Calderwood Drive, Mobile. Ala. 36608.
