ESTHER GROS

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Genevieve
Catholic Church in Thibodaux for Esther Gros, 79, a native and resident
of Thibodaux, who died Thursday at 3:35 p.m.

Visitation will be Sunday from 6-10 p.m. at Landry's Funeral Home and
Monday from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time at the church.

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.

She was the mother of Margaret Barrilleaux and the sister of Arthur and
Lionel Benoit and Marie Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman J. Gros; parents,
Ulysse and Marie Trosclair Benot; four brothers, Claude, Walter, Wallace
and Ernest Benoit and one sister, Valerie Neight.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
