Madeline Laws

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated today at St. Elizabeth
Catholic Church in Paincourtville for Madeline L. Laws, 73, a resident
of Paincourtville who died Saturday.

Interment was in the church cemetery.

She was the wife of Henry Laws Sr.; mother of Henry Laws Jr. and Lydia
Shavers; sister of Louise Williams and Rose Welsh.

She is also survived by four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ludia and Edward Landry;
sisters, Vinne Geague, Kate Charlet and Bea Landry; and brothers,
Edward, Howard and Billy Landry.

Landry's Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
