Estelle Brown

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St.
Luke Catholic Church in Thibodaux for Estelle "Sister" Brown, 53, a
native of Greenwood, Miss., and resident of Thibodaux, who died at 8:05
p.m. Tuesday.

Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Gertrude Geddes Willis
Terrebonne Chapel. Wake will be at 8 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Interment will be in Moses Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was the mother of Hattie Smith, Eddie and Samuel Adams and Isaiah
Van Buren.

She is also survived by three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Brown; a son, Peter
Brown; parents, Julia Adams Van Buren and Eddie Adams; and a sister
Louise Henry.
