Davis Gros Sr.

Davis Philip Gros Sr., 74, a native and resident of Gray, died at 9:27
a.m. Dec. 1, 2005.

Visitation will be 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Thibodaux Funeral Home in
Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
Saturday at the funeral home, with burial at St. Bridget Cemetery in
Schriever.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Gros; sons Davis Gros Jr. and Dwayne
Gros; brother Andrew Gros; sisters Claire Babin, Joy Benoit and Lena
Babin; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Inez Duet Gros;
brother Clarence Gros; and sisters Pearl Hebert, Mildred Rouen, Velma
Mire and Bonnie Pennington.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
